ABOUT KHAIRI JOHARI @ PAK JOFE IN BRIEF
Khairi Johari, also known as Pak JoFe, is a collector extraordinaire. He graduated from Oklahoma City University, majoring in Mass Communications. By profession, Pak JoFe is an Information Technology Consultant.
In his free time, he is an avid and active keris (a Malay or Indonesian dagger) collector.
Having first started collecting since 1997, Pak JoFe’s collection of keris specimens and keris references have grown over the years.
Aside from his interest in the keris, Pak JoFe also has a myriad of other collecting interests. Ranging from numismatics, gemstones, books, paintings, toys and all manner related to arts that takes his fancy.
Sports of choice for Pak JoFe will be Traditional Bare Bow Archery. Transiting from modern recurve bows in 2015, Pak JoFe has developed proficiency in the use of traditional bare bow archery. Today he has a total of 9 personal bows added to his arsenal of collection. Another area of study and collecting. Where time permits he will participate in traditional archery competitions locally and internationally too.
A knowledgeable enthusiast and proponent of the keris art,
Pak JoFe does cater to requests for both public and private exhibitions, talks and consultancy. In-depth knowledge of the keris and collecting is a niche helmed by a select few. It would be a waste not to share this knowledge to those who show keen interest in this field.
