Pak JoFe’s academic journey spans continents and disciplines, from Mass Communications with a focus on Journalism and Liberal Arts at the University of Oklahoma City (USA), to specialized diplomas in Mechatronics Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore), Computing Science from Monash University (Australia), and Business Management from UNISIM (Singapore), now known as SUSS.

Initiating his collecting odyssey in 1997, Pak JoFe has spent nearly three decades amassing and studying kerises—traditional asymmetrical-bladed weapons from the Malay Archipelago.
